Each batt is is folded in half, lengthwise and rolled in paper. Unroll and allow fiber to relax before using. For wet felting alpaca, I recommend using the hottest water you can tolerate and shocking with cold water. Batts can be special ordered up to 10 ounces each, of any color or blend of colors.
