Our Fibers Our Future

We don’t have one actually. A sales list.

We are raising breeding stock to improve our fiber supply. We have some critters that neither fit into a breeding program nor the fiber business. But they are nice critters who are happy and living a comfortable life here, on our farm.

If a person we knew wanted to have some alpacas to enjoy, we would consider a possible placement on another farm as long as we were confident that they would be happy. But if your idea, is you would like to pick a black one and two white ones, we can’t help you. Alpacas are funny. They form groups within their herd. Some have a best friend, others are loners within the herd and some are more popular than others. Let say you wanted Carlos, but not Pedro. Well, forget it. The two of them could never be separated. I think they literally could die, if you separated them. And that girl over there, sitting by her self in the corner. She will never leave this farm. It took me three years to earn her trust. I would hate to betray her now. But those three over there, they could live anywhere and be happy. As long as they were appreciated and well cared for, they would give you great joy.

And we don’t sell alpacas to people we don’t know. So, be prepared to spend time while we all get to know each other if you are interested in any of our precious critters.
